Styling Secrets: Transition Outfits

Hi Friends!

In today's styling secrets, I wanted to focus on transition outfits for fall to winter. This is the time when it's not cold enough for a parka, but still getting chilly. In Michigan especially, during this time, the weather is always fluctuating so I wanted to include options to work around this in my outfits.  The major things I wanted to include were layering, neutrals, and keeping things fun!

Fall is my favorite time of year because it includes jackets, boots, and fun sweaters! Each of these looks incorporates that, and if it gets chiller, throw on a parka and have a cute outfit underneath!

Here are a few outfits showing exactly what I mean:

This look is fun, chic, and easy! This billowed out sweater is from BCBG, and is perfect for the fall with the mock neck and cut. To add some edge, I paired it with these leather chinos from Nordstrom Rack. I wanted to add some contrast, so instead of doing a black boot, I did nude suede loafers from Nordstrom Rack. Then, to add a bit more contrast, I added these metallic gold earrings from Nordstrom Rack to tie it all together.

This outfit is fun and girly. Earth tones always look good, so this outfit is perfect! This skort is from Urban Outfitters, and because it is patterned, I decided to keep everything else neutral. I paired a mock neck nude sweater from Forever 21 with matching nude suede boots from Steve Madden for the perfect fall combo. To top if off, I added my teddy bear coat from Amazon and multicolor fringe earrings from TJMaxx that stayed with the color scheme and added some pazzaz.

We all know I love this outfit for the black white and grey! This outfit is one of my favorites because of how chic and simple it is. I paired a grey plaid pant from Zara with a simple tank from Forever 21. To keep it casual I added my white Adidas and my glasses from Eye Buy Direct. To add some layering, I threw on this cardigan from Nordstrom Rack which is always my go-to for how cute and comfy it is. To add some edge I added a spiked necklace form Nordstrom Rack and threw on a red lip for a pop of color.

And with that, I hope you got some fashion inspiration to survive the weather change!

Until then,

Gurbani
